Event Details and Arrival Procedures
· Each day will be spilt into 3 sessions with the Southwest Hall (competition space) cleared between sessions. · There are less than 60 athletes in each session. · Spectators will be limited to 4 per athlete, seated in socially distanced pods. · Athletes and coaches will check-in at the competition area. · Spectators will purchase tickets (wristbands) in 2nd floor lobby. Line will be maintained with stanchions and 6’ markers. · Temp check will occur at entrance to Southwest Hall for everyone. · All spectators, coaches, and judges must always wear a face mask. · Athletes are required to wear masks the entire time unless competing on an event. · Contact tracing information will be collected from competing gyms and athletes. Each gym must provide a list of competing athletes and a contact number. · Competition space will be divided into 7 stations – 2 vaults, 2 bars, 2 beams, 1 floor · Each station will have socially distance (6-ft apart) chairs for athletes · Equipment at each station will be frequently cleaned. · Gymstars will be selling leotards and small tokens inside SW Hall. The line will be maintained with stanchions and six-foot markers.
Awards Space
· After each session competition, athletes and spectators will move to Northwest Hall for the awards ceremonies. · Audience will be seated in their 4-person socially distanced pods. · After awards ceremonies, all session attendees will promptly leave.
Concessions
· Concessions will be in the Pre-Function Lobby and the food court will be in Grand Ballroom. · Floor decals will be used to mark appropriate spacing for guests in line. · All tables will be set so no person at one table is within 6 feet of any person at another table. · All food and drink must be consumed in the food court area. Food will not be allowed in the Competition area. Mask may only be removed while seated and eating in the food court. · All food & beverage outlets & stations will be sanitized regularly and equipped with proper sanitation products. · All employees will wear proper Personal Protective Equipment including and not limited to face masks & gloves, which must be changed out frequently. · Hand Sanitizers will be available in the space.
General Safety Protocols
· All persons attending must always wear facial coverings, unless eating/drinking in the food court or an athlete competing on an event. · For the health and safety of everyone, any person exhibiting signs of illness will not be permitted to enter the facility. · All state and local guidelines for facilities and programs will be strictly followed. · Renasant Convention Center staff will conduct regular and thorough cleaning of all public equipment, seating, tables, chair etc. in accordance with industry standards, and our GBAC requirements. · Six feet (6) of social distancing will be instituted at entrances, concession stands, restrooms, etc. For all customer interaction points and queuing. Floor decals will be used to mark appropriate spacing for guests. · Event staff will monitor and ensure all guests comply with social distancing and mask requirements. · Gymstars and the Renasant Convention Center will immediately isolate and seek medical care for any individual who develops or exhibits symptoms. Gymstars will notify all required parties including the Memphis and Shelby County Health Department about suspected cases. · RCC will place specific signage pertaining to COVID-19 symptoms at all entry points to the venue, which will state: DO NOT ENTER IF: · You are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough, and shortness of breath) · You have been diagnosed with or believe to have contracted COVID-19 unless no fever has been present for 72 hours (without the use of medicine) and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared. · You have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days. · You have traveled internationally in the past 14 days.
Parking
There is a parking garage available at the convention center off of North Front Street and pay to park parking lots around the convention center as well. You will need to pay with a card at the convention center parking garage. You can use cash or card at the pay to park. If you use cash at the pay to park parking lots they do not give change. Make sure you arrive with enough time to park before you have to be at your session 30 minutes prior! If you are coming from the Sheraton Hotel there is a skywalk from the hotel to the convention center.
